Welcome to the
Wangaratta Aero Modellers Club Inc.

We fly radio controlled model aircraft each weekend (weather permitting) at our Shanley Street  Model Airfield, 2 kilometers south of Wangaratta City Centre, Vic, just off the Hume Highway.

Please note that all visitors wishing to fly with us must be current financial members of the VMAA and should be accompanied by a financial WAM Inc. member. Pilot Instruction by qualified Instructors is available by arrangement.  Some rules do apply.

Club members fly a diverse range of radio control models ranging from mammoth scale aeroplanes through to helicopters and even ultra light indoor R/C models. Flying interests in the Club are mainly focused on Radio Control aircraft.  If you have a particular aeromodelling interest that you would like to pursue with like minded WAM Inc. members, contact a member of the Club Committee who will put you into contact with the appropriate member(s).

Club Meetings are held monthly at the the Wangaratta Aero Club, Drage Airworld, Wangaratta.  Phone any of our executive or email our President or Secretary for more information. All Visitors are welcome at our field.
